Who is Jaclyn Amor?
Often appropriately deemed as a "Jac of all trades", Jaclyn Amor is an international, Filipino Australian, director, producer, writer and artist. With a unique background in creative direction, fine arts and performance, Jaclyn’s work includes music videos, fashion editorial films, branded content, influencer campaigns, digital series, VR projects, unscripted television, short form documentary and narrative shorts and features.
From directing the Asian American International Film Festival in NYC and off Broadway plays, to creating content for the likes of ABC, Bravo, Google, YouTube, College Humor, Adaptive Studios, Snapchat, TikTok, People Inc (EW, People magazine) and Condé Nast (Vogue, Architectural Digest, CN Traveler, Vanity Fair), Jaclyn has worked passionately towards highlighting the talents of fellow creators from diverse backgrounds, in hopes to contribute to the positive change in the entertainment industry.
During the pandemic, Jaclyn shot a winning 2 minute quarantine film for the Reframe Women in Film competition (which has a permanent showcase on IMDB pro), produced and directed a weekly online live Zoom variety show for AAPI heritage month featuring celebrities with local LA hosts and started her own small production company - Agent 86.
Jaclyn was in the coveted Disney directing program (cohort of 2024-25) and directed on the reboot of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition - full series now streaming on Hulu.
2026 sees Jaclyn directing and producing short form and large scale event content for a number of global clients, and she is currently slated to direct a camp horror feature film with a release date of Summer 2027. She will also be spearheading an experiential multimedia pop up art gallery and exhibition in Los Angeles and releasing a home decor line later this Fall.
